The idea behind the Intex Catheter is simple: to make the fitting of intermittent catheters for women as trouble free as possible.
Consequently, the catheter is fully adjustable for comfort and ease of use. The Intex Catheter should be used under the guidance of a skilled professional. The Intex Catheter has a nelaton tip and is made from PVC to minimise allergic reactions, whilst the handle and optional mirror are made from disposable polypropylene. The whole device is disposable and sterile, having a five year shelf life from sterilisation.
